OrchestraOne Music Director Eric Mahl teams up with Third Street Music School to celebrate Third Street’s 125th anniversary and explore the amazing diversity of the LES through the music that surrounded the school and the neighborhood throughout important moments in their development. It speaks to the importance of diversity in music and the world, and the ability of music to bring cultures together, through Third Street and OrchestraOne’s mission and vision.

OrchestraOne teams up with the New York based ensemble Spark Duo (Kate Amrine, trumpet and Ford Fourqurean, Clarinet) to present two interactive performance events in Manhattan and Brooklyn. “Sparking Conversations” is a program that combines the performance of new music written by New York based composers with real-time conversation and discussion about the music led by the performers and Music Director Eric Mahl.
