Margot Kenagy has been involved in the world of music since the age of five when she began playing the violin. During high school, Margot attended the Manhattan School of Music Precollege program and performed throughout New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, both as a soloist and with ensembles, including twice at Carnegie Hall, at Merkin Hall, and at the United Nations. Margot earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University, where she studied Political Science, Violin Performance, and English. After graduation, Margot joined a financial services firm in New York City working in Talent Development.

Margot has experienced nearly every aspect of classical music and the performing arts: studying, performing, teaching, administration, reviewing, and more. She has a passion for sharing her love of music and the impact music can have on diverse audiences, but particularly young people. Throughout her college years, Margot volunteered at a music school in Nashville, Tennessee, teaching violin lessons to students who, without this type of program, would not have access to private instruction. Additionally, she spent one summer interning with The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in their education department. Combining her love of music with her interest in writing, Margot also acted as a Contributing Writer for ArtsNash.com, an online publication that reviewed music events in the Nashville area. Margot continues to play chamber music in New York and Connecticut.
